Midnight Glory

Staring up at the sparkly sky
So long ago, that day,
There I was
Chasing the stars away.

I had my net,
Waiting for the right moment,
So that I could
Have a star catch enrollment.

Fire flies stir, wake up the night,
Late midnight is coming, with all it's glory.
I'm trying to catch the midnight shooters,
Like in a bedtime story.

I'll reach up high
And pluck the perfect one,
And think about how
This is so much fun.

I look up
And the sky looks milky,
The black sky looks,
So incredibly silky.

Finally my dream ends
Along with my story,
But one day it'll come true,
During midnight glory.
