MIB Treatment

MIB Treatment
Most effective method to forget an ex,
cheaper than therapy,
easier than a lobotomy,
short-term procedure,
to erase remnants of a long-term relationship,

your former beloved who was once your everything,
will now become a distant, faded, memory,
another dead, decaying brain cell,
in that thick head of yours,
just a figment of your imagination

Start out simple,
erase their phone number from your phone,
all text, instant, and email messages,
burn every picture, delete every digital one as well,
every gift given to you from them, sell,
eBay will do just fine,
the farther away it is from you the better,
of your past good times, get rid of every reminder,
destroy every piece of evidence of you two together

Avoid the risk of future encounters,
know your routes to work, school, your favorite restaurants,
every single place you two went out,
avoid them completely,
map out your neighborhood,
wake up at early hours in the morn, test out new routes,
move to a new area, new city, new town, if needed,
you'll thank yourself later,
you'll never run into that b*st*rd again

Wash your mind of all sweet, romantic, thoughts,
find the goriest, bloodiest, most violent horror movies,
George Romero's should do the trick,
find the most entertaining, non-stop action-filled games,
Call of Duty, Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil,
 Assassin's Creed, Battlefield,
play them for about two weeks,
take several hot showers,
wash off their smell, rid yourself of their essence,
of their old cologne, their perfume, their filth,
cover up your scars, wash away your sin,
isolate yourself from all friends and family for a month,
until you're all alone,
with only yourself, your thoughts, and what's left of your heart

Don't get back in the dating game right away,
sit on the sidelines for a while,
the duration of time you were with your former beloved,
wait that exact time before you pursue another,
or else your heart will twice be broken

The treatment's complete,
you are cured of your dastardly affliction,
for your ex, you should no longer have any affection,
they are now non-existent, only a figment of the imagination,
a faded memory of a distant past,
to you, it's as if they never did exist
like you two at all, have never met,
the good times, the bad,
all dead and gone,
gone like the wind,
the idea of them, their name, any trace of them,
just another dead brain cell,
in that thick skull of yours,
all thanks to one treatment,
the MIB treatment
