Mermaid Wonders

Silky shades of wonder sing and dance
upon that turquoise sea of tranquility
A collage of confusion and troubles
often strokes my mind of soft desire
Through watery sirens I hear their laugh
so delicious amidst black drifting slumber

Crystalline mermaids evades legends...
They slip submerged down into a question
of blues and their love cannot be found

I was born in West Virginia and raised in Kentucky. I've been writing poetry since high school and have been in many poetry circles on the internet.
