Merely A Blade

A blade of grass when stood upon,
Is given not one thought,
If in lands of barren fields,
blades of grass are sought.

So much joy as shoots touch air,
hopes of seasons yield,
all the dreams that many have,
would see grass in their field.

If all lands were fertile,
children of good health,
hearts would then be rich,
minds with so much wealth.
