Men develop with age

All day long I look
Upon every life and age
As beauty anew

As though I had found in a good book
A pictured beauty of creation
Deep into the philosophical minds
Delighted to the brink of wisdom
Pleased to have filled the eyes
For men develop with years

This is a good place for the poet
The young in one another's arms
Caught in that sensual music
Listen to those wiser generations
As they mutter their melodious tunes

I have sailed seven sea therefore to come
And see the singing master of my soul
To consume my heart away from this earth
Into the artifice of eternity
