MEMORIES OF YESTERDAYS (for Shar Sabo)

MEMORIES OF YESTERDAYS (for Shar Sabo)

I remember the good old days
all the laughter we had always
the parties,
and the happies
I remember all these yesterdays

These memories keeps us going

I remember the times with you
all the fun things we went through
the drinking,
and the thinking
I recollect these yesterdays, I do

These memories keeps us smiling

I remember our mateship was strong
all those times we sang our song
the harmony,
and the of-key
I recall the yesterdays all day long

These memories keeps us singing

I remember we went everywhere
all the places there, here or there
the joints,
and more joints
I retrieve these yesterdays anywhere

These memories keeps us buzzing

I remember those drives in the car
all those roads that took us so far
the streets,
and the sleeps
I memorise these yesterdays, my Shar

These memories keeps us driving

I remember that we never had a fight
all the time happy, each day and night
the fun,
and the sun
I am thinking of you right now, tonight

These memories keeps us moving

I remember memories of yesterdays
all the golden moments of those days
the best,
and the rest
I remember all these yesterdays

These memories of yesterdays keeps us living
