Melt My Heart

Your eyes melt my heart and astonishes my soul.
Hopes for many tomorrows, love that never grows old.
I believe in love, I believe in us.
Lips against lips,
Your fingertips pressed firmly upon my skin.
An open book of integrity, pages you let me read.
Tell me,
Your deepest thoughts and secrets
Only you and I would know.
Let me,
Into the world you live in,
Feel what you feel, live what you lived.
For what our love has become,
I hold close to my heart.
Even when times are hard and we are far apart.
I imagine your eyes, the blue and brown texture,
with a slight glaze of clearness,
like an ocean filled with endless life.
Fulfills the tranquility of knowing you love
and adore me, patiently, forevermore.

Margo Marie Morlock

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and now living in the beautiful state of Florida with my husband. Writing has always been my passion. My inspiration is touched by life's that are so precious to me in my life. My father, William G. Morlock has passed on his talent as a poet and given me my art of making words come to life. My way with words are shown within my different poems. My concentration of study is on 17th century women writers. I believe this is an era I should of been living. My works resembles that type of symbolism yet realistic notations. Mother- Nora Rodriguez, Sister - Katie Rodriguez, Brother - Brian Morlock Father -R.I.P. William G.
