Mediator - a haiku

Stars shining brightly
Like Annabel Lee's eyes
As she walks.

Quiet but talking is
The mediator alone.
She talks to the dead.

Her eyes shine bright as
She watches the spirit walk
Towards her in mist.

Yellow glowing eyes
From the spirit shine like head
Lights that burn so bright.

Not scared at all the
Mediator whispers to
The broken spirit.

'Listen to me, girl'
The spirit whispers to her.
'I need you, help me.'

The mediator
Stands helplessly as the ghost
Vanishes from sight.

Confused and alone she
Wonders what the message was.
How come ghosts don't tell?

'Tell him and he shall
Know that life is painfully...'
The sad voice drifted.

The voice was cryptic
Like the Oracle's presence
And strange like Herc.

The mediator,
Quiet she thinks about who
To tell the message.

The mediator
Stood alone atop a high,
Estranged mountain.

A mediator
She was cursed to forever
Be. Alone with ghosts.

She, alone and fearless,
Was

A mediator.
