McKenzie

There was a little fluff ball. He was her name.
She was so ver tiny, And for that she came to fame.

Her brothers and her sisters Were so healthy and so strong,
But then came Babe McKenzie, With a little something wrong.

Her mama was exhausted, From having such a lot.
She cuddled down to sleep that day But on the very spot-

Where lay our sweet McKenzie, And needless to say
This precious baby puppy, Couldn't breathe No Way! No Way!
Her owner came to notice, (A dentist by his trade,)
No breath, no stir, no motion,
No sign of life she made.

So right to work he went on her,
He thumped and shook and tried,
Until like LAZARUS he saw--
McKenzie was REVIVED!

And now McKenzie romps and plays
To meet the early dawns.
Nurtured, pampered, spoiled and loved,
In the family of DEWAN'S.
