Maybe I Need God In My Life

I’m getting high.
Blind by thinking I’m wise.
Pain deep inside.
Need to ease my mind.
Seeing easily I could die,
Wasting my time.
Something I can’t rewind.
And I want to shine.
I’m really trying.
But nothing is fine.
It’s never alright.
Maybe I need God in my life.
So many dreams.
Ones I’ll never reach.
So it seems.
Cause it’s always been grief.
So what will I ever achieve?
When will I be deceased?
I got kids to feed.
No time for me.
Questioning things I once believed.
Losing my self esteem.
No more peace or way to be free.
I’m really in need.
I’m losing my sight.
Things I once seen will never be right.
I think I need God in my life.
It’s said life isn’t fair for no one.
But since I was young,
I really was never a son.
Now I feel like a bum.
It sounds dumb.
And it hurts my pride.
But I cry inside.
The pain starts to numb my mind.
And I try to move with time.
Trying not to loose sight,
I continue to fight.
But against all odds.
Maybe I need God in my life.

Michael Williams

Pennsylvania, U.S.Rymes all the time. Designed to shine on the lines that unwind, with no lies of no kind, some surprise in design, to rise and to climb, into time and the mind, from sighs to cries, and hi's to goodbyes, from the eyes to the sky, from wise till it dies, it still flies, and it's mine from the mind. Rymes all the time. -M.Eazelksparks87@hotmail.com more…
