Master

Beat played by the crowd watching
Performers dressed in a dream cloak
One foot in, the other outside, reality
Tones spoken and words played
To the beat unseen but felt, thrumming

Many began to dance, with each other
Some danced alone to different rhythms
Cast like a spell upon each breath
Raised awareness seen in their eyes
Smiles blooming for ‘everyman'

Beats increasing in the anticipation
The lions among them roared, Nirvana!
Neighing stallions lifted hooves sunward
While singers blended to song harmony
The master descends from within Us.
