Marry Me Angel

love
such a small simple word for something so deep and intricate
ever since birth I wanted to be a participant
always wanted to be held in my mothers arms
where the world could do me no harm
don't be alarmed one day you will find love too
this is as true as the sun will rise tomorrow
when you find it you will forget all your sorrows
swept away they become ancient artifacts
just relax and let it fill your mind
you have finally found your place on loves grand design
it takes time and care
but eventually you will obtain
its plain and simple
fall for the girl with cute dimples
she has blue eyes like a cloudless sky
a smile that shines like the noon high sun
when she holds me its comforting like a breeze in summer
there is no other like her
i want to stand beside her for the rest of my life
the hardest part of the day is when i have to say good night
at night she takes flight into the heavens
she is an angel
she glows in the moonlight
and despite the evils in the world she remains kind and true
words could never express this love I have for you
true love
yes it exists
life so bliss and every time we kiss
feet lift from the ground
theres no sound
i am completely enveloped
I have developed this obsession
my heart you are caressing
my soul expressing my feelings for you
what i would do for you
but my mouth does not comply
i will have to find another way
by always being there for you with open arms and a kiss
you will never have to miss me I will always be there
the rest of my life I want to share with the girl I love
marry me angel from up above
marry me
