Manhattan Seashells

The Manhattan southshore doesn't have beaches per se.
The Coast Guard and Battery Park are on top of cement blocks.
The waves are passionate beneath the tar.
The Coast Guard told me to turn around
that I could find the shells along the boardwalk
near Battery Park-the Coast Guard area is restricted.
I was asking how the seashells got there.
Johnny said the fishermen brought the clams over from
Staten Island for bait.
A New Yorker said the waves sent them overboard
onto the blacktop beaches.
I said the ducks found them.
I wonder if Greenfield High School will still be called the Waves?
Clearasil can't be found anywhere in Greenfield MA.
Manhattan carries Clearasil and the special acne
treatment too which I used to use
many years ago.
