Mama's Fallen Grace

Little boy blue sat quietly on his bed
Watching tunes of Bugz Bunny & Elmer Fudd
He'd rather enjoy his childhood instead,
Of hearing the alarming sound of a [/Thud]

1 extensive second passed by
His covers would begin to fly,
Off his body as he ran to her side
In her room she laid between the wooden dresser and he cried

Soft concerned tears fell and his eyes full of discern as he crouched
The heavy dresser, he once couldn't move, was lifted
He held her underneath the arms to bring her up, she sat slouched
She was drunk again, to drink more than needed she always insisted

He noticed on his mama's familiar beautiful face...
A scape which bled
With a sight of her mouth, full of red,
He'd never forget of his mama's fallen grace
