Mama

Mama you have been my guide for 18 years
you've been there whenever I was sad to wipe away my tears
you've been there in every joyful occasion to make me smile
and just to see your face , I'd walk that extra mile
when I was little I hated being apart
and now that I'm older, I miss you more, respect you more
and love you more with every inch of my heart
I miss those special times we shared together
with hugs that seemed like they'd last forever
I hope happiness touches every part of you
and have a very Happy Birthday too
Mama you love me no matter what
and that is the greatest gift of all
you taught me to stand tall
and my gift to you
is for you to know how much I love you!
