makes me wonder

Marvin said, "mercy, mercy me"
right on, my brother
when I see the hurt and pain
that we cause each other
what ever happened to respect?
guess we blew that, too
along with the last welfare check
when will we show love, not judge, and try to understand? feed the milk of human kindness to all, stretch out our hand?
didn't happen too often last millenium, but I have faith we know how--
if not yesterday or tomorrow
how about...NOW?
