Madness

Rain drops on my head
my soul instiled with dread
i heard a noise, from the pit of my soul, a low rumble of fear breaks out.
This is madness! i thrash out to save myself
myself, saved. what a lovely thought.
i twisted in the burning wreck of what used to be. Who would help?
Who can save us?
This is madness!
I pull my hair and scream
was this only a dream
this is madness!
who will save me?
WHO CAN SAVE ME?

I am 14 years old and I LOVE poetry. I have been writing poetry for a long time now and my cousin, Hillary, told me about this site, I had to check it out. My favorite poet i would have to say is Edgar Allan Poe. :) more…
