Luck of The Draw

Luck of The Draw

 I've spent my time
 In worlds of wonder
 Traveling to
 The other side
 Learning – why?
 There is no reason
 It is just how
 It's supposed to be.

 Many stories
 I could tell you
 Of places far
 Far from this land
 Still no one knows
 Or has an answer
 To: what is life?
 Why do we live?

 People I
 Have met out yonder
 They try to live
 Like you and me
 Each day's a gift
 Of some eternal
 Our journey is
 Unique, do you see?

 There are some
 Who are the masters
 Others live to
 The servant's call
 There is no shame
 In being either
 It's just a job
 Luck of the draw.
