Love’s chain reaction
Remembered attraction
Became a distraction
To your real life.

Feelings uncovered
Were left there unsmothered
And soon had governed
The rest of your life

Set into motion
True love’s devotion
No longer a notion
Becoming your life.

Your love had guided
His ardor ignited
The girlfriend left slighted
He’s now yours for life.
