Lost Soul
Searching for a lost soul
Which locked itself out of fear
But it doesn’t know the happiness it stole
Which is really clear
That soul that chose loneliness
Instead of love
That soul which now has an illness
Which everyone and everything it shove
Trying to get close to its jail
It shimmers lightly
Seeing it become pale
I try to help but the jail is sealed tightly
Feeling hopeless
Thinking deeply
Suddenly feeling stress
My efforts being cheaply
Will I help it on time?
Or will it die?
Will this be considered a crime?
Will this be its final goodbye?
I refuse to give up
I approach it again
Only to find it like a wolf pup
Alone and going insane
Tick Tock
Time passes by
Nobody can stop the clock
As I see it cry
Silently it asks for help
But its outside refuses to show it
I could hear it almost yelp
But its outside refuses to admit
I come to its cage
and touch it to make it come to its senses
It is in this stage
That I lower its defenses
Stubborn soul
Hiding and refusing to come out
Being controlled
But in the inside it gave a shout:
“Help me…Help me…
I can’t take it any longer
Will someone hear my plea
And help me become stronger?”
With this I make my move
With no time to waste
Its seal I try to remove
That itself has placed
As I remove the seal
The soul hesitates
Itself it tries to conceal
Its process accelerates
I touch it again
Reassurance I give
As it conscious it tries to gain
I tell it to live
As if those words were magic
The soul shimmered brightly
At last, it wasn’t tragic
It approached me politely
“Do not be afraid
It’s true, difficult is this world,
but if you think much about it you’ll fade.
Try your best; forget about it being a whirl”
I told it, grinning
And it kept getting brighter
This was a new beginning
This was now a soul of a fighter
Letting energy swirl around us
We say our goodbyes
I hope for its success
And it takes off to the skies
I completed
What I came to do
But this may be repeated
Let’s hope the next victim is not you
