Lost lover

You got lost my dream lover
Your ship sank
In the depths of life
Among which you forgot
Where you have to swim
You crashed on the rocks
Which I poured out
From the last tears I shed for you
I am free now
In the isolation of this place
Expectant of betrothed
I go there now where he waits
This one who is and will be
And to whom I'm whispering
And he is so close
That I hear his voice
Even when he keeps silent,
The one who I feel
The one who I see
The one who is me
Because I am his

Anna Cellmer Claim this poet

I am a Polish female living in the heart of the greenest region of Poland called 'The land of a thousand lakes'. I am married and a mother of two beautiful boys, working at the University of Warmia and Mazury at the Real Estate Management and Regional Development Chair. Poetry is the subject I use to fill my days, to make them full of love, light and smiles and hidden desires.Much of what I write is based on personal experiences and people who have come my way during this long trip of life which I live by.The inspiration comes from life and everything that touches my heart.
