Lost Love

After being alone for so long
I can finally see where we went wrong
The way we tried to hurt each other
Kept our love from growing strong
We were both blind and couldn't see
The I was hurting you
And you were hurting me
We must have been fools
To throw it all away
True love you don't find every day
When we said goodby I lost my mind
I said I didn't love you time after time
But seeing you today and talking with you
I think its safe to say
That it ain't true
