Looking For a Corner

Round and round and round I go
Looking for a corner that doesen't exist
Inhibited feelings stop to flow
My whole being locked in my own fist

I. I see you smiling
I see you laughing
Do you really mean it?
This happiness.. Is this real?

I've forgotten how to feel
Yet some undefinable emotion survives
Don't know what's the real deal
These fake smiles and muffled cries

Love was a beautiful dream for a while
But that is all it was. A dream
The lies that I fed myself in guile
Truth can be ugly. Do you want to scream?

Feel free
Be my guest
Please no pretense
I request
I want to see
Who you are
Sun, moon
or a broken star

Write your obituary
and become what you want it to read
Life will be legendary
You will have all that you need

But what if I really don't give a f*ck
In existantialism I'm stuck
Is there a way to find a corner in a circle?

Round and round and round I go
Looking for a corner that doesen't exist
Inhibited feelings stop to flow
My whole being locked in my own fist
