Long Gone

She saved everything as if she knew
It would all be gone shortly.
Packed up in bags and boxes,
Hidden in the darkness of the past
Stumbled upon in a desperate
search for something essential,
Pleasantly swept away by a
Tsunami of memories. Never cried
Out as she soundlessly slid Past
surface.Expanding herself.
Sinking further into the abyss
of things completed. She cried
as she was rescued by the call of
reality.Yanked up by callused hands.
Clawing at the flood, clinging to
suffocating blue security. Begging
to return to the arms of Poseidon he
waded away. Watching him crumple
himself back to boxes of Long Gone,
him shuffle the boundary of Never More, return when hurt is too much.
