Lonely Hearts Need Loving

The lonely heart hides behind clouds of doubt
As the rain falls like a tear drop disappearing into the night
Just like the lonely melt into the crowds of the day
The hearts of the lonely disappear into the darkes haze

A lonely heart cries out, for the hand of the brave
But broken and lost the heart begins to fade away
Lost in a dark chasm, can the heart now be saved?
As the lonely heart dissolves, a tear drop ebbs away

It takes a brave man to stand out from the crowd
To give his heart willingly without making a stand
To take a broken heart, heal it, make it strong
Without expecting, anything back in return

The brave heart beats strong, beating loud, beating proud
Calling our for the lonely heart that stands out from the crowd
Giving a brave heart a chance the lonely heart can be strong
Two hearts beating the same tune, the lonely heart no longer alone

Jane Lomas Claim this poet

All poems included here are just first draft's. I hadn't written poetry for a few years, so to polish my art and find my muse I posted some quickly written poems on these pages so I could see your response. It has helped me by reading your reviews about my poems (all of which I have taken into consideration) all comments have helped me improve my work a great deal. Thank you. I realy enjoy reading all your poems. I find some very insperational, some very heart felt, some very deep, which has helped me to push myself and dig deeper. Very deep, on some occasions. So my own poetry has vastly improved- since I have joined this sight, it has certainly helps splur me on. Thank You for all your imput and replies, please keep it up. It has helped educate me and make me a better writer. So if you would like to read more of my poems (the ones I've taken time over, polished them, played with them, worked on them till they truly worked)for your pleasure I have now with confidence published my own book.
