Loneliness
Charles Dickens 1812 ( Portsmouth) – 1870 (Gads Hill Place)
Loneliness is like a prison with no walls
A prison of the mind
Everything around seems so important
Loneliness is a feeling of rejection
A feeling no one understands
It's the emptiness in our hearts
Loneliness brings sadness
This sadness is unbefitting
It's like darkness in the morning
Lonely hearts are hopeless for each dream
It's a vagary thought in each silence
Reaching out with open arms, but no one cares
Nights have come to stay
Morning has become the enemy within
Crying all night and no one dares to save
Loneliness waits patiently
Today and always
Sooner or later it becomes a fairy tale
