Locked Fingers

as i hold each of your fingers wrapped around mine
to spend such precious time looking into you
the windows of your soul, of a thousand meaningful looks
it seems like eternity to share a blissful comfort
yet we never know where to reach the end,
of which our love may gone astray...until we wont satisfy affection
that...tears may devour the chain that link the bond
and no longer share the romance of shakespeare
dear...i am not looking forward into them,
so, i may hold my lamentations
i may never be the best of what i can be for you,
but, thru this of what we have now
that we share a couple of smile and laughter
from now and (hoping) to eternity
remember that i am changed because of you
because of the love you rendered
i may not keep thru eternal promises,
but until my fingers are locked around yours
hope we could keep to the essence of valentine
for you are loved the way you are
