Lo, God is Watching You now!
Look, what is that you hide that
Ought you to have since revealed?
Gone are days when God o'er looks
Or winks at all men's folly;
Dare you then think you can hide?
'Tis a fool that thinks God's blind,
So live they in sins' dark filth.
What? I was one such a fool,
And I thought I could e'er hide
To seal my incest prone self
Caught in lust o'er my small lass;
How her white skin drew me on!
In a hapless sinful strife,
Not willing to let me go:
Gone are days when God o'er looks!
Yield is what I almost did
On many such foolish nights,
Until, years back, God said no.
Now, I'm wise God's not blind when
On that night, he'd set me free.
What? God's no fool to be blind!
