Living the Life of My Soul

Too many words for a broken heart.....
Hard to see through tears but walk along
I walk on and on.... holding myself within
Know I have to live to hold this anguish
This pain, this feeling,
Do I carry them till the end of me
Do I have to.... I wonder, hard to but I got to....
Holding on I hardly drag along the life of my soul
It is not going to be a bed of lilacs, I know
But I go on looking for the brook of elixir
Hope will win my way some day
I believe....as I keep going on......
