Living Death

No more pleasure. No more zest. No more reason to invest.
No more passion. No more lust. No more reason to entrust.
No more embrace. No more hug. No more reason to unplug.
No more rapture. No more buoy. No more reason to employ.
No more courage. No more grit. No more reason to commit.
No more anguish. No more tear. No more reason to endear.
No more struggle. No more toil. No more reason to embroil.
No more starshine. No more thrill. No more reason to excel.
No more conflict. No more pain. No more reason to explain.
No more purpose. No more goal. No more reason to control.
No more delight. No more cheer. No more reason to appear.
No more profit. No more gain. No more reason to maintain.
No more mettle. No more cheek. No more reason to critique.
No more spirit. No more verve. No more reason to subserve.
No more gambling. No more dice. No more reason to suffice.
No clear vision. No fresh breath. This is merely living death.
