Live a dream

The soul leaves the body when you sleep,
It wakes up somewhere else; without anything it keeps,
Another place; a different world,
The world of the dreams.

A beautiful sight, trees and flowers everywhere,
The soul flies through the gate,
It can't leave this place,
Until the end of grace.

It wanders cluelessly around the place,
So many colorful flowers
As if they constructed one huge face
Due to the persons' thoughts powers.

The persons' thoughts are building this world,
Smile with everything you've got or cry your eyes out,
Sail through the ocean or ride on a horse,
Everything is due to the thoughts force.

Tonight unlike every other night,
The thoughts of this innocent girl
Has been better than a romantic scene,
All thanks to this guy, who had made her dream world fly.

This guy isn't like everyone else,
He's so special, it takes her breath,
She would never believe his feelings
But tonight she flies with her own wings.

He made her feel special too,
Who would ever think she could love,
This guy could only ever be you,
The one who set her thoughts free like a dove.

Her soul returns to the the body,
The moon had kissed the sun good morning and flee,
She opens her eyes with a feeling of whole,
She had finally received her soul.

Shir Hanochi

"life isn't measured by the numbers of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away". With my poetry, I want to make more of those breathtaking moments, to put everything I feel into words and let everyone else enjoy it as well as learning from it.English is not my first language, therefore I'd like to hear any grammar or spelling mistakes. Thank you all for understanding, and enjoy reading. :) more…
