Lions

Colossal presences demand
Upon the fruitful plains
Behold two countenances grand
From Keen fangs to downy manes

Mighty beasts yield in their path
Leopards cower, zebras brood
Lest they spurn their passions’ wrath
Their prowess understood

The Scourges of men and animals
The King's ferocious scions
There prowl the feline Hannibals
The fierce, majestic lions!

The quarry stocked; blood thirsts enthused
They grit their teeth and bear their claws
And with the others' wrongs accused
They mutually defend a cause

With faith their prides assume the fray
Chaos thus pervading
There shall countless lives fall prey
Desolate void creating

Virtuous are valor and strength
But let thy rage decease
For virtues just by any length
If sound, consist of peace
