Life's too short, so let us not fight.

Life's too short, so let us not fight.
Freedom of speech, is everyone's right.

Trust me, I understand the sentiment behind what you say.
Words when used against us, can affect us in a negative way.

If we say no to some, then we need to say no to all.
Then all of our freedoms, will just crumble and fall.

We shouldn't take our frustrations, out on each other.
We should support our rights, whether for our sisters or brothers.

People may have the right to say how they feel.
But they don't have to be cruel, and make us feel like a heel.

I know that I sound like I repeat myself a lot.
But I base my poetry on my feelings, it's all I've got.
