Life's A Stage.

So many seeds I have not sown,
Nor worldly riches do I own.
Yet my life I would not trade,
Or the varied roles I've played.
For is not life just like a stage?
And we the actors as we age?
Times in which we will grieve,
Wear our heart on our sleeve.
Births that we will celebrate,
And death, we'll see as we wait.
Lots of heartache along the way,
Yet I would not skip one day,
Or ever change the role I play .
For on this stage of life you see,
So much love was shared with me.
Even though they may be gone,
All their love still lingers on.
So I will continue on life's stage,
Until I am called backstage.
And on that final curtain call,
I'll bid adieu to one and all.
