Life and Dream

To live
Wake up to smell the fresh air
 To walk the earth
 Behold the day
With the comfort of the sun
 Warm and loving and bright
 There hold shadows
The realism that gives life a fight
Some can stand up and walk through the shadows
Others wait in the cold, for rescue that will never come
Some stand above the darkness, forever in the sun
As they look down at the cold ones, in disgust of there misfortunes
Others have no choice, but to sit there, never seeing the light
Then there are ones who can't find meaning in the light they live in
So they jump in to the shadow, never looking back
There is light and dark in the life we live
 But there is another world
 One we can't comprehend
It is our very own world
A Dream
 That's what they call it
But it is far from any naming
 Can one name, something unexplained?
In it you drift away
 Away from the dark
 Away from the light
To somewhere that hold neither one of them
 Yet brings them together
Forming something unreal in the night
Rainbows and true love exits in these places
 So does evil and hate
Yet it is part of us
 Throught the day
And at the end of each reality
 We slip away
 Into our mind
The light and dark come together
 They become unreal
Then become real in an unreal world
 And you lift into
 A dream
