Life after death

I held it,
as I submerged further down than I had ever been.
I longed to bite her flesh, feel her warmpth and taste her skin.
I remember looking up at the moonlight,
as it kissed the surface of this ocean,
gleaming mystery filled with a mocking, frigid hopelessness.

Such a beautiful moment,
when all these things would meet,
when darkness met the light,
where the land softly touched the sea.
It was were the life in all these things,
could be so clearly observed,

I float in utter silence, hoping to hear a word.
In the darkness my eyes are open,
with hope that I will soon see light,
but no fire burns, my stomach turns,
my body starts to fight.

The crest is now so far above, I can not make it back.
her kiss the chains,
that would restrain,
the thoughts in me considered sane.
I jerk and move, my body spasms,
I twitch and choke and embrase the chasm.

As my mouth opens, It slowly creeps,
the truth, the facts, embrace my sheets.
I feel this part of me start to die,
I can't taste my tears or feel myself cry.
I curl into a ball slowly fading in my mind.
I will indeed move on, soon after I have died.
