LIfe

We crawl, toddle, walk, run, amble, limp, and finally watch.
Quickly years on the staff of life we notch
Tears, fears, joy, laughs reside in the luggage we carry
No matter how pleasant a time, we cannot tarry.

Our sand passes through the hour glass at its own rate.
Each day bringing us close to the final gate.
May the gate be open and we be greeted with a smile.
For the journey was wonderful and certainly worthwhile.
