Letting Go

Awoken by the streams of light
Aroused gently with little fright

Rushing to catch her last scent
Forced to travel the neglected road

And there it lay
Upon the heavens of day

A forgotten brittle rose
As free as the river flows

Shattered upon brittle stones
Corrupted as broken bones

With only that to keep
Ones self is left to weep

A stolen, once cheered heart
Hidden along her long lost chart

Confined beyoned reaches
Missing the aroma of peaches

With nothing to persue
He tied his shoe
And planted the clue
