Let us reflect on what we are favoured with

Health, safety, clothing, air, water and nourishment,
These all point to the world being ours, yet we don't realize it.
We possess all that life has to offer, yet remain ignorant.
We have two eyes, a tongue, lips, two hands and two legs.
Can we picture ourselves walking without feet?
Should we forget that we fill ourselves with delicious dishes
And cool water while the pleasure of good food and drink
Is impossible for some, due to sickness and disease.
Look at our healthy skin and be grateful that we have been saved
From diseases that attack it. We should reflect on reasoning and
Remember those that suffer from mental ailments.
We have been given abundant favours, yet we feign ignorance.
Warm bread, cool water, easy sleep and good health,
Yet remain despondent and depressed.
We are troubled by a loss in wealth, yet we have key to happiness
And many blessings. So let us reflect upon ourselves
And that is around us.
