Let me be free

My pain I carry in my pocket
so no one can see my troubles
my tears are in my shoe
that walk a mile without fashion

my heart show a different beat
when the beat has no sound
my light dim to a slim brim

what am I to do, when my life is so blue
I pray, I pray, I pray
to the most high, to hear my voice
to lift me up, to carry me thur

to heal my heart, to give me comfort
so my light can shine in
so I can be a bright star, and go far

hear my cry Lord, hear my plead Lord
show me the way Lord, show me the way
laid your hands on me, let me be free
