Let It Be

Let it be, to save a pressed rose in a book.
Something from the heart desired the most.
Feel the way it feels dry.
But the beauty of it, it never dies.

Let it be, to save a heart from cries.
Something from the heart to ease the tears.
Feel the way it involves your soul to share.
But the beauty of it, is the thoughtfulness to care.

Let it be, the wedding rings make two to one.
Something from the heart they will cherish forever.
Feel the way their love feels in the moment.
But the beauty of it, it may never go dormant.

Let it be, in the rays of the sun on your back.
Something from the heart when warmth feels just right.
Feel the way it brings out joy to relax, and just be.
But the beauty of it, its to relish part of life indeed.

Let it be, for love is a precious thing we share.
Something from the heart to reveal everyday.
Feel the way the heart grows fonder as time moves on.
But the beauty of it, it will produce a solid bond.

Yvonne Sensing

I've been writing since I was a kid...I enjoy putting thoughts onto paper it's like clearing out my mind. I'm not saying I'm good, but I try. Still I write, but the thoughts in my head get jumbled and it all comes out wrong. I know what I want to say, I hope it comes out that way. Anyway, I still write maybe to leave a little piece of me behind. Not here to cause trouble or be a hero. I am a kind person with a big heart and I only do what makes me feel good. Poetry happens to make me very happy and joyful. Sharing my most inner thoughts makes me a target it seems, with folks that don't like me. I assure I am not a hater, but I will stand up for myself for what's right and true. This site has made me feel like were all family and here for each other not a place to bicker and fight among us, but to enjoy each others work with respect and love. Please understand I am not here to cause problems, I am here for the same reasons you are. more…
