Let Hope Stroke Your Hair

Another section of beautiful existence
rolls along its fine-lined course with cool gentle smiles,
gather the self's artistic design and laugh love
across time's rippled poetic fascination.

Here's some whispered verse to bring delight to the soul,
giggle and grin as celebration pops coloured
days with a sharp edged intake of wild fluttered breath.

Perhaps a song shall capture your heart as you sigh
with age tickling your fresh features once again,
let it caress all the thoughts that surface for air
and dance along the here and now's wondrous escape.

Enjoy all your moments as they arrive with grace,
soak up pleasure and bathe feet in warm waters; pure,
let hope stroke your hair with emotional visions.
