Leave Me Alone - One Too Many Times

Leave me alone, just want to stand alone against the wind…I see your face in the back of my mind. Sometimes I just want to be left alone, standing alone like an one man army.

One two many times I've been walking this road, why can't it just end. Been waiting for this to end. Won't anybody tell me where I am going,  it feels like an never ending road.

I've been waiting for you to show me the light, one too many times I have been standing here waiting for you. Sometimes I wish I could be left alone, standing where the wind is blowing against my face.

One two many times I've been left standing underneath these stars, I could almost tell you where they are and how they form.

I can see right through your eyes, they tell me the lies that you have been hiding.
Oh would you be so kind to tell me everything.

Still you're the one who's been hiding everything, I see inside of you and what I see is the darkness.

One too many times I've been waiting for you, to shine your light.
Still I am hoping that everything will come to pass, but all that's left in me…is the darkness around me.

Can I ever see the light, or will I ever be the same anymore?

Max Hornbogen

My name is Max D. Hornbogen and I live in Marquette Michigan all my life. When I started writing it was during my brothers graduation from high school. I really don't know the year. Now I am 22 years old, while I was growing up my dad died in a car accident during the winter. Some of my pomes are about him, a lot of my others ones are personal. Most of them deal with everyday life and the struggles that I deal with. Also some of them are kind of dark, but I do have a wide variety of everything. The one thing that I love the most out of my writing is that it is an outlet, it's like my own world. I get to say whatever I want. I love music of all kinds, also it's another reason I love writing my poems. I always study lyrics by other music artist that are out there. Also I got to have music on while I write my poems.I have been writing 5 years so far more…
