Lament.

Sleep
Dont Open your eyes
Please
Dont realize
They're gone
Torn to pieces
All along
I didnt mean this
Hands Slick
Blood of angels
Another Trick
Strangled
Sleep
Dont wake up
Please
Dont wake up
I'll hold you close
Room temperature
you'll never know
what you were
What I'd give
To keep you safe
Live
Just to keep you safe
Sleep

Josh

I'm 16, I live in Colorado. And I believe in God.I come from a big family, and most of em are moving out by now.I love music, probably too much. I always have my headphones handy if I need to escape.I dont care about the "Rules" of poetry. To me, Poetry is how I express myself and how I share my thoughts and opinions with others. If I can read it, It's worth reading.(Unless it's a sex poem, Those are just worthless.)Please leave a comment if you read my poems and feel you have something to say.It seems like people just zero bomb some of my stuff when I first upload it, I dont mind it, I just wish that people could leave critisism about how I could do better instead of simply destroying my ratings. If you feel like giving me a bad rating, please tell me why. That's all :)"Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known."
