My dear, sweet friend,
For you I wait,
For the coming of the morn:
We are two,

We are forever bound
With the rising of the moon.

To the land where we were born.
The trees are all gone,
For them I weep,
For the birds that once sang there:

The clear and running streams,

For the rainbows sparkling there:
We are few

Who remember this land
