Lakeside Stroll

Gloomy skies of midnight blue,
distant stars try shinning through.
Reflections dancing in the night,
on the water shinning bright.
These hovering clouds of white and gray,
seem to tarry till they make their way.
Till they're gone throughout the night,
like a dream this beautiful sight.
Rippling water that has caught,
a second world that has brought.
A vision calm and full of peace
pictures still, but with a crease.
From a gentle wind that seems to kiss,
this waters surface, a heavenly bliss.
I beg this vision to stay around.
this gentle calm without a sound.
To share with one I find so sweet.
This late night walk through natures street.
