Kind mentor

It's good he mentioned
don't worry
it's not to bad he said
when I messed up

It's just totally human girl
when I shook my head
don't make fuss he said
when I felt really embarrassed

It's good there are people
who show us when we cannot see
that failures and mistakes we make
are not a crime or insanity

They help us to show
that there are other ways
where we can leave our footprints
for you to see some day

Most of the time we are
to harsh on ourselves
I ask you please do have
some mercy on yourselves

Jet Rood Claim this poet

A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination. But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen then you have somethingvery special. Nelson Mandela ************************************************************************I am from the land of tulips and mills. I like to participate in cases which can make a difference for myself, my surroundings and the earth. My wish: humanity in a non-dualistic society. more…
