Keeper Of The Flame
Are you that of the keeper
Or are you that of the flame,
The holder of past knowledge
Or the stereotype who became the same?
Are you of the nightmares
The bearer of the sweetest dreams,
Or is it of times the pain did come
While with it came the silent screams.
The story is told from a distant past
When a hermit's home is shared,
Bringing in the black candles flame
So the hermit's very life is spared.
Through the journey he waits
Compiling the sins of each man in turn,
Protecting nothing more than the flame
So the hope of man will forever burn.
