just me!

Today i sit and wonder if the paths i chose were wrong
All through my life i've felt i dont belong
People i have met all seem to know there dreams
Im the odd one out.. that is how it seems
I've never had encouragment, well done or any praise
Just lied to, hurt, put down and many times betrayed
People often wonder why i say "i just want out"
For no matter what i do it never seems enough
Im always looked at as strong, hard and tough
Oh believe me thats a front from the battles i have fought
Inside is a little girl scarred, broken and distraught
Shes waiting to be carried to a life with no dispair
But at the rip old age of 33 im yet to find the one that cares
Living in a lonely world i promise is no fun
The only thing that keeps me going is the fact i am a mum
Without my kids id see no point and find the path for "out"
But my kids are the air i breath without a shadow of a doubt
Maybe one day when i smile it will be so real
Maybe theres more then pain that my body can feel
Maybe the next path i take will lead me right this time
Just maybe then i can right my poems about being just fine
