Blue eyes flashed at me
And caught me in their wake
Silver hair and blue eyes
Gentle smile, shy, yet full of hope
Spoke to me despite the din
Of the crowded afternoon
Humility in confidence
An attractive combination
Passion wrapped in patience
And with very few words said
Blue eyes flashed at me
The first time we met
Gentle, alluring smile
Called to my soul
And I answered
